A two-day XVth Annual Conference of Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists with the theme "Hospital Infection Prevention: Driving Change for a Better Tomorrow" was organized by the Department of Microbiology, Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Lucknow on 1st and 2nd February 2019.
The conference is organized by Prof. Mastan Singh, Chairperson, and Dr. Vinita Khare, Organizing Secretary. It was inaugurated by Prof. Sarman Singh, Director, AIIMS, Bhopal and Prof. M. L. B. Bhatt, Vice Chancellor, King George's Medical University; Lucknow was the Guest of Honor. Hon'ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, Principal & Dean Prof. M.M.A. Faridi, Director - Academics Dr. Farzana Mahdi also graced the inaugural function.
More than 300 delegates from Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh and other parts of India are attending the conference.
