The 25th of September, 2023 marked the vibrant celebration of World Pharmacists' Day at Era College of Pharmacy, Era University. This significant event was organized in collaboration with the Uttar Pradesh Pharmacy Council, bringing together professionals, experts, and students from the pharmacy field.
The event, held at Era University, was honored by the presence of the Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Brajesh Pathak, who attended as the Chief Guest. Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi, the distinguished Vice Chancellor of Era University, presided over the occasion.
The event, themed around the significance of the pharmacy profession in healthcare systems, brought together experts and professionals from the field. Distinguished speakers shared their insights, underlining the pivotal role pharmacists play in ensuring the wellbeing of society.
Shri Brajesh Pathak, in his address, emphasized the need for the upliftment and recognition of the pharmacy profession in Uttar Pradesh. He stressed the importance of honesty and dedication in achieving perfection in the field, highlighting that trust and integrity are paramount when entrusted with the responsibility of healthcare.
Dr. Abbas Ali Mahdi, in his address, encouraged the pursuit of excellence within the pharmacy profession. Mr. Sandeep Badola, Chairman UPPC participated in the event with his team and spoke upon the present status of Pharmacy profession in Uttar Pradesh.
Dr. S.J.S. Flora, Director and Dr. Mohini Chaurasia, Principal Era College of Pharmacy shared the dias with dignitaries on the occasion. Dr. Rupali Mirza, Head, Department of English, Era University hosted the event effectively and gracefully.
