“Lamp Lightening Ceremony” of Era College of Nursing, Era University, students of 2023 batch was held on 26th September 2023.
Prof. Dr. Alok Kumar, Secretary, UP State Medical Faculty was the Chief Guest of the ceremony. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Era University, Prof. Dr. Prof. Abbas Ali Mahdi presided over the function which was also attended by Prof. Farzana Mahdi, Pro Vice Chancellor of Era University.
Nursing Teachers received the light from Principal, Era College of Nursing, Prof. Priscilla Samson and students marched at the tune of Pandit Ravi Shankar and received the light from their teachers in a traditional manner. Nursing pledge was administered by Principal, Era College of Nursing, Prof. Priscilla Samson.
Speaking on the occasion Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. Mahdi said that nursing is a very noble profession and lot is expected from nurses including empathetic attitude, discipline, dedication and devotion towards the job. Prof. Alok Kumar said that Era College of Nursing is one of the best Nursing Institutions in the state of Uttar Pradesh and recently it has been graded as “A” grade Uttar Pradesh. He asked the students to excel in their studies so that they make their own name and that of their Institution. Prof. Dipti Shukla, Principal, Samarpan Nursing College was the Guest of Honour on the occassion.
