The Department of Optometry, Era's Lucknow Medical College and Hospital, Era University, Lucknow organized a National Symposium and Workshop on "Best Practice Standards in Optometry & Eye Care Delivery". The Symposium which was attended by over 250 delegates from all over the state of Uttar Pradesh was inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor of Era University, Prof. Dr. Abbas Ali Mahdi. Speaking on the occasion Prof. Mahdi talked about the scope of optometry and the importance of optometrists in eye health care management.
