A candidate seeking registration for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) at the Era University must hold the following qualifications.
A 1-year/2-semester master's degree programme after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s degree programme or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree programme after a 3-year bachelor’s degree programme or qualifications declared equivalent to the master’s degree in any branch of life sciences by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent qualification from a foreign educational institution accredited by an assessment and accreditation agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of the educational institution.
Candidates possessing a PG Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under the law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme.
A relaxation of 5% marks or its equivalent grade may be allowed for those belonging to reserved categories declared as per the law.
Notwithstanding anything contained in the above-mentioned clauses the eligibility criteria/ guidelines prescribed and / or issued by UGC, AICTE, NMC or any other such statutory/regulatory bodies, from time to time pertaining to said disciplines/ courses may be considered as minimum requirement for admission to Ph.D. Programme of the Era University.
All payments must be remitted to the bank account of Era University. Era University has not authorised any person or entity to collect Tuition fees or any other payments on its behalf. Payments made to any person or entity other than Era University will not be credited to the student's account.
