Message From Head of Department

Liberal Education has long been the bedrock of intellectual growth, fostering the critical thinking and civic engagement necessary for a vibrant, informed society. At Era University, we continue this proud tradition by offering a multidisciplinary B.A./B.Sc. (Liberal Education) program that empowers students to explore diverse subjects across the sciences and humanities.
Since 2018, our program has led the way in integrating the arts and sciences—well before the introduction of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. This visionary approach aligns with NEP’s emphasis on holistic education, allowing students the flexibility to choose from a wide range of subjects, including Mathematics, Statistics, Animation, Computer Science, Sociology, Psychology, English Literature, Physics, Biochemistry, philosophy, Political Science and more. By blending knowledge, skills, and values, we encourage our students to apply their learning to the challenges of today’s world.
The Department of Liberal Education at Era University remains committed to nurturing well rounded individuals who are equipped not only with specialized knowledge but also with the ability to think critically, adapt, and contribute meaningfully to society. In doing so, we strive to fulfill the NEP’s objective to focus on the idea of “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat.”
Join us in this exciting journey of discovery, where your academic path is as unique as your aspirations.
